Fairgrove, Michigan
Mrs. Van Kirk, age 43, died Sunday March 18, 2012. Melinda was born in Saginaw on April 3, 1968 to Edwin and Caron (Blevins) Aymer. Melinda was a 1987 graduate of Akron Fairgrove High School. She worked at the Rachel Sovereign Memorial Home in Bay City. Mrs. Van Kirk is survived by her three children; Jacob Van Kirk of Lansing, Gabriel Van Kirk of Fairgrove and Eve Van Kirk of Fairgrove, special friend Daniel Barr. Also surviving are her parents Edwin and Caron Aymer of Fairgrove, 2 brothers James S. (Carolyn) Aymer of Farmington Hills, Michigan, and Edwin W."Chip" (Torri) Aymer of Grand Rapids, Michigan, her sister Anna R. Aymer-Frank of Pensacola, Florida, and 7 nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday March 24, 2012 at the Fairgrove United Methodist Church, 5116 Center Street, Fairgrove, Michigan. Pastor Daniel Gonder will officiate.
