Mrs. Johnson, age 75, died Saturday April 21, 2012 at MidMichigan Medical Center, Midland. Joan was born in Saginaw on June 21, 1936 to late Robert and Dorothy (Bender) Rice. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her 4 children; Timothy (Kathy) Johnson, Sari Jo Niles, Wendy Johnson and Karen Samuels. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, sister Sue (Robert) Flattery and brother Robert (Diane) Rice. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth in 2005. A life celebration dinner will be held at the Midland Eagles Club, 2934 E. Monroe Road, Midland from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Friday April 27, 2012.
